Great boot...BUT...

This is a great boot but you should really check sizes before ordering. I wear a 9 or 9.5 shoe and a 9.5 size in this boot fits like a 13. Ridiculous. I'll head into a local shoe store before ordering shoes online again...btw don't expect an exchange in size from Amazon they do refunds only.More detail ...

These boots are AWESOME 100% -

I have ordered 9 pairs of boots in the past month and returned all but 1 other pair due to cheap look materials TOO BIG TOO SMALL and even poor condition (look like they have been worn).

Anyhow these boots are lifelong type things the QUALITY is so much higher than most of the other stuff on here. Real leather real soles ( real cobbler nails even)

true to size soft flexible light and sturdy all rolled into one. The look is triple pimp IMO instant style in a box...

ACTUALLY made in Portugal and it shows!

Never mind the price either I have purchased three pairs of more expensive boots (out of the 9 mentioned above) and these are in a whole other league (for less mind you...) Anyhow if you are considering it do it... IF you don't you should kick yourself in the forehead now.

Unique style exceptional comfort fast fan maker!

The waterproof DeSoto boot from Clarks is an instant classic...

On day one these felt great...no break in period! They come with a soft lined cushioned insole and tend to run a little larger than size so an add'l insole or orthotic would do you well.

This boot uses a zip mechanism to sinch it closed...it does not seem to have a locking function to it but they have yet to unsim on me even when jogging a distance. The rubberised toecap is a great feathure if you happen to beal with crowds or light equipment...

Clarks has a cavalcade of interesting styles...many of which combine good looks and solid construction which equals positive function!

Runs big nice looking shoe good quality

I have this shoe brown. It's a nice dark cognac stain. It's very slightly distressed so the nicks and scuffs you will add to it over the life of the shoe fit right in. I find this shoe runs a little big. You could compensate by wearing some thicker socks or getting an insole. I actually bought 1 size down from my normal size. They are a bit snug but they will stretch out over time.
